My name's Mark and I've been living here for a couple of months with my wife Jo, who is working as a medical scientist for one of the big pharmaceuticals. I work at home freelance writing books for the UK and trying to get my cat off my lap.
It seems we've finally sorted out insurance, bebbi bags, a flat, a bank account, bike tax stickers, where to recycle, how to say greuzi, how to find markkauf, getting our stuff across the border, and generally wading through the bureaucratic sludge. But that's over now and it's time to meet some more people before the weather turns cold and everybody hibernates.
Anyway, this seems like a very friendly forum, so wanted to say hello.
We're into being outdoors exercise, reading, films (so being normal really) and trying not to drink like we used to back in the UK...
Cheers!
