We are a British-American family newly arrived in Basel from Boston, Massachusetts. We have two year old twin boys so life is busy!

We would like to hear from other families about play groups, get-togethers, Halloween/Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for young children. Also any advice offered about great activities for busy toddlers would be greatly appreciated.

Loads of stuff for kids (and their parents) to do. We have 2 Halloween parties going on THIS week on Thursday and Friday. It'll probably be crazy busy, but come along - we don't mind if people come along to some events or playgroups to try out before joining.

We are also a British-American family and we moved here from Tucson (previously San Fran) in October too. We also have a 2-year old boy (and a 4-year old girl). We've found that the BCT is good but our favourite is Gymboree (at SBB). There aren't a ton of established playgroups that we've found but I think it's a case of lots of meeting and networking to find the type of atmosphere you want.
