Hola. I'm a 24-year-old fellow who has been living in Northern California for the last five years. I now work in Zurich as a software engineering cog in some great machinery serving something beyond me. (I like the Fleet Foxes, too., and saw them in Zurich.)

I've been here for five months but most of my friends I've met through work. While I love my coworkers, it would be fun to meet people outside of my tech-oriented, male-dominated world.

I eagerly anticipate the ski season, although at present I am not an expert. This winter I will ski more than any other time during the course of my life combined. When I am old and brittle, I will tell my grandchildren about how great a skier I became during my time in Switzerland. Hopefully I will not have to lie to them.

Other than skiing, I like most other forms of fun, too. I delight in exploring new places, and I could go for some partners in crime with whom to wander the streets of Zurich.

I guess I am in a similar spot. I'm 22 and I just moved to Zurich form Montreal to work/study for at least a year. Don't know anyone here except for my coworkers and new roommate

Btw, I am a big fan of snowboarding and brought all my gear.
