Landed from Ireland two days ago!!!

Hello Everyone!
I am just landed from Ireland and am living here with my swiss partner and our daughter. I am hoping to find a few more people in my situation, I am a little weak ( correction: VERY Weak) at french and I am eager to settle into the way of life in Switzerland i.e. find a job, make some new friends and get into enjoying the culture and social life here.

At first I didnt understand what this site was for as I was intially just looking for a piano player when this popped up on google... But I must say I am delighted to see a thriving english-speaking community in Switzerland.

Hope to be chatting to some of you soon!!

You will, unfortunately, probably recognise my name - I'm one of those nuisances who move posts, even delete them if they are 'premature' advertisements, remove email adresses and phone numbers from Ads and generally spoil the fun on EF.

We are useful sometimes though as we, too, work on Sundays.

Hope you settle in well.
