Hello
I'm moving to Switzerland at the end of this month. Im originally from Hamburg, Germany but moved to the US in 95. My parents live in Zug (beautiful town) where I will be staying for a few months before I will be moving to Zurich most likely to attend school and work.
Just curious to see if anyone here has lived in the US (in a crappy town called Miami) that speaks english and german. Or just english. either way, i'm open to meeting new people my age. (late 20's early 30's)

Miami Florida, Miami Ohio, oder?

I grew up in the US. Then I was in Germany for a little while and now I've been in Switzerland for the past year. You'll find plenty of Germans and plenty of English speakers - my advice is to focus on activities rather than ages when looking at groups. All the functioning groups that I've encountered have had a good cross section of ages.

Welcome to the forums. If you mean Miami Florida, yes I've lived close to there. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, but I don't know if I like you now after calling Miami a crappy town.
J/K, everyone has different tastes, opinions. Been in Zurich since July of last year and I speak English and German so if you need any advice, etc. let me know.

I grew up in the New Orleans area. Have been living in Austria/ Switzerland for the last few years and am now living with my husband a young son in Horgen (20 min from Zurich). We are always looking for new friends!
