New to Bern, Bolligen - looking for friends

Hello out there

We are a family of five from Denmark - myself Vivi, my husband Per, our daughters Frederikke (2) and Caroline (6) and our au-pair Thomas.

We moved to Switzerland because of my husband's job, and hopefully I will start working later this year.

I would thoroughly like to meet new friends to share experiences and to meet with.

Anyone out there who could be interested?

Best regards,
Vivi

Re: New to Bern, Bolligen - looking for friends

Hi Vivi!

I have also moved to Switzerland because of my husband's work in Swiss company in Bern Region. I am studying in Fribourg university as part time and mostly I am at home with our 2-year-old son.

It seems we have same age sons. And we are living in same area.

Are you interested in to meet somewhere with kids? For example in some indoor/outdoor "spielplatz" and change tips and recommendations about what kind of activities you have found from Bern area. I think we could find something else to chat too, because we are mothers and from North part of Europe. We moved here from Finland.

My husband has been living in Malmö before we met. He studied there in Lund's university and visited often in Copenhagen. I haven't ever visited (yet!) in your country, but I'd like to some day, at least in Legoland .

I am now 29-yrs-old and we have been living here now 5 months. I would like to get to know other foreign (and local) mothers and that's why I would enjoy to read your reply, so don't hesitate to contact me !

Oh, now I recognized you have two daughters! I am sorry for the little mistake, anyway, it is great to see you have same age child as we!
