Hi everyone!

How are ya? I arrived in Basel at new year to start a new life with my Swiss boyfriend and I am just settling in and want to get to know the place and its people.

So tell me, what goes on in Basel? Some people have told me not a lot happens here. I don`t think this is the case at all, judging by the New Year`s party I went to at the theatre. The locals here seem pretty groovy.

Are there any groups I can join to get involved with conservation or refugee volunteering and the like?
I hope to hear from you all soon and I look forward to meeting some of you.
