Incoming from Dublin!

Hi everyone

Just a quick message to say hello and thanks a mill for all the great information on this site. I am an Irish girl (well not that young but still a girl!) arriving in Zurich next week and already have a connection for my insurance, know the situation regarding commuting, and am well prepared (but trying to remain totally positive) for apartment renting. So it's been a great source. I have resisted the temptation to ask if I can live on X in Zurich?!! No matter what I am earning, I am rubbish with money so fingers crossed my wages will cover that

Looking forward to meeting a few here - and joining a few skiing groups. Also I think I will be missing my live rugby so any meet ups to watch that would be great

Re: Incoming from Dublin!

Welcome to the Forum.
What a nice refreshing Introduction.
Second thought. Too good to be true. What's the catch?

It is really great to see someone using the info on here and at the same time taking responsibility for answering their own 'basic' questions. It isn't always easy and there are lots of stumbling blocks, but taking time to check things out on here pays out in the end.

Enjoy yourself and I hope you settle in well.

Hello and welcome,

I'm originally from Dublin myself, but left many years ago!

I think you might be able to watch the rugby at O'Reillys here in Zurich

God luck with the flat hunt.

Welcome to the forum.

With regards to rugby you can suppport your local team. There are several clubs in the Zurich area........the biggest being The Grasshoppers.

Or if you want to suport RC Zug, then just click the link in my signature.

cheers
