Hi All

I just moved to Bern to enjoy the wonderful world of ... unemployment (and as such am living with my parents for the meanwhile). Before this I was an engineering grad student in the DC area, followed by marketing intern at a publishing company in London.

Looking forward to figuring out where people hang out around here, as I haven't really found much night life yet (mostly been hanging around the areas between Zytglogge and the station). Any recommendations?

Nice town otherwise, am really enjoying the tranquility. Quite different to London!

Hey! I am in Bern too! I haven't found the great night life yet either. I once went to LIQUID but that was a bit too tacky. I have had fun at Reitschude (building by trainstation) and Proppeler Bar. I have enjoyed Marian's Jazz Room too.

There should also be a site which lists all the activities in Bern. I always keep forgetting the name of that site :P
