Hi members of the English-Forum.
I discovered this forum a few days ago, found useful threads and now want to introduce myself to the community. I am looking forward to make friends here :-)

I am a 25-year-old computer scientist from Austria that will move to Lausanne (to be precise: Morges) in February to work at the Innovation Square at EPFL at least for two years. I finished my master in computer science and (in a few days) my bachelor in philosophy.

I have already been in Lausanne in 2010 for an exchange semester at EPFL for 6 months. I have learned a bit french due to the language courses but not enough to speak and understand everything fluently. Hopefully, I'll have enough time to learn it beneath my work.

Currently I am busy with all the formal stuff that is required to move out and in. But from the 6th of February, I am in Morges and have the remaining February to (re-)discover Morges, Lausanne, etc, because I start to work in March.
