Just accepted a job offer as a nanny in Zurich, 28 single female, just me and my HUGE suitcase!
Moving from the back arse of beyond in the uk, so any tips etc would be great!
Also any other nannies / expats or someone willing to teach me some local language in exchange for wine would be great!

Hi. Did not mean that at all sarcastic. I really think your English is good.At least your written English. I speak German fluently ( more or less)
I've been here for 17 years now.
But as I said Austrian German loses me a bit.

Hello. Just wanted to ask a question about au pairs from Philippines.
My friend wants to work in Switzerland as an au pair. She's from Philippines and has done some basic nursing training as a helper.

I saw this internet site which offes help for au pairs. Is it honest?

Definitely trustworthy, but still can not an absolute guarantee. Families are making their own registration, just as the au pairs do. No personal connection. Any of these sites are a good contact point. I can suggest, that she also advertises herself, looking for families in the same time, and try to discuss a personal appointment with each families (or a skype interview).
And she choses the best opportunity for herself.
