Yorkshire - Yverdon

Hi, I've lived here nearly 32 years, we moved to Yverdon last November, I'm originally from Yorkshire. It would be nice to meet or chat with anyone who speaks English !

Re: Yorkshire - Yverdon

Hello and welcome to the Forum. There seems to be many from Yorkshire on here.

Q: How do you know a Yorkshireman / woman is from Yorkshire?
A: You don't need to ask, as they've already told you

eee lad

A Yorkshire couple had been courting for nearly twenty years and one day as they sat on a seat in the park she plucked up courage and asked,
'Don't you think it's time we wed?'
He answered,
'Aye lass, but who'd ave us?'

Re: Yorkshire - Yverdon

Hi Melanie,

There is an English Speaking Ladies Group that regularly gets together in / around Yverdon. There are about 30 of us, mainly from UK but also from US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and some Swiss anglophiles. PM me if you want more info.

Cheers

Many thanks but I'm already a member of the group and unfortunately I haven't created any contacts within the group outside the meetings
