Welcome to the Forum.
Your Introduction Post, when combined with the info in your profile information, looks suspiciously like an advertisement 'light'. Be careful it doesn't turn into one, won't you?

Thank you both for your welcome! I have come to this forum to talk about Switzerland, other people's experiences and of course in the medium term to talk about me and my business.

hi there
I have a pilates related question.
I have been doing pilates for nearly 2 years using a reformer and cadillac as well as mat/ball. I am moving to Zurich from the USA and will build a fitness room in our home. I would like to buy a pilates reformer with the end bit that looks like this..
http://www.google.com/products/catal...MAQ#ps-sellers

Its $5500 ish US which is about 5000 CHF ish. Do you think I should buy it in the US and ship it - we are moving our whole house so it won't make too much of a difference or can I buy it in CH for a similar price ? I have had trouble finding it online. I'm sure I can get it cheaper here too but I was just wondering what the price difference in the high end equipment is... any advice.?

Re: New to the English Forum. Hello!

Please can you let me know how your price comparison goes as I used to work in the US and am curious to see if there are major differences in the prices.

Its only slightly more expensive, about 500 CHF but I need to get hubby to read then whole page to compare, My German is not good enough. It may be worth buying it there. Maybe get a discount for cash or if we buy more equipment. We will be buying a bike and treadmill so you never know.... and I guess better if I need parts.
I have been doing price comparisons on lots of things so we can decide what to buy here, bikes etc. so this was useful. Thank you.

Where do you teach Pilates ??

Re: New to the English Forum. Hello!

Interesting ! My girlfriend teaches Pilates too, but in Italy for now !
She has some doubt about the language...do you think it is very important to know german in order to do a good Pilates lesson ? Is english sufficient ?
Thanks

perhaps in the cities there would be enough interest in English classes. I have no idea, I haven't looked into it much yet..
