New in Basel!!!
Hi All,
I recently relocated from Bangalore,India to Basel for work for 2 years. Love this beautiful city.
So happy to find this helpful forum and all the advice and suggestions offered by the members.
Would really like to meet people, absorb the Swiss culture, and learn German. If you are in the Basel area, who likes to take a coffee or beer, shop or just hang out drop me a note....

I was in Bangalore just over a year ago, and the local paper had a picture of a young woman wearing gloves, a wooly hat and a scarf. The headline was "Young IT worker dresses for the sudden cold snap as temperatures plummet to 17 degrees".

Hope you're coping well here at -17!
