Hello..

My name is Mila and I live in Bali, Indonesia but recently have been dreaming and planning (only in my head so far) to move to Switzerland with my new, young family. My husband is from Luzern so if we do move, it would be to that area. My father is from Thun, Switzerland. I love Thun, I love Switzerland! Sure, the weather can get cold unlike Bali but everything is clean, safe and just works in Switzerland! Unfortunately, I don't speak Swiss-German although I understand bits and pieces (my brother and sister and I were born and raised in Bali and my dad was never a patient teacher lol).

We have a 10 month old baby boy, Jeremy. So it's the three of us.

I joined this forum because I'll be asking what living in Switzerland is like but I guess I will post that in another category as this is only to "introduce" myself

It is great to hear there is somebody from Bali - that paradise in South-Asia. I have visited three times at your Island, and for sure, more visits will exists in future! I am actually from Finland, but I am very interested in Asian cultures, specially South-Asian. I have visited in Jakarta, Lombok, Gili-islands and Bali -of course. I would like to learn more Bahasa Indonesia/Malesia, and if you ever visit to Bern region after moving to Switzerland, don't hesitate to contact me.

I am also mother, for our 2-year old son. I think we would visit in some indoor/outdoor "kinder spielplatz" with our children if you will visit at our region. I know there is one that kind of place in Thun, and it is near of our local home right now. Thun is very beautiful town, but in Luzern we haven't ever visited. We should do that in some weekend. I don't know yet many local people here, so it is nice to get contact from somebody who is also a mother.
