I and my husband are sharing this account on English forum. We have been in Switzerland for 2 months already and have had some good info from this very active community. We hope to be able to contribute and exchange information. Both of us are working with medical/life science research, so if you have any questions about this field, you are more than welcome to ask us!

In the mean time, we as do many others, are looking for a 2-3 room apartment in Lausanne or the surrounding area. No luck with housing agencies thus far, despite countless applications, possibly because our budget is 1600 CHF per month. If you have any tips on getting an affordable apartment, or even have an offer that you know of, please contact us!
