Hello

Hello Everyone!

I come from Shanghai, China and now living in Bern during the weekdays and in Zurich on weekend.

Maybe it's not so suitable to write here that i want to find someone to improve my English. But not that serious like a language partner. I mean we can do some shopping or have some drink and meanwhile speak some English. Since I used to study German literature, German speaking is not a problem for me. But my English is getting worse and worse ((

Besides I also think it's very interesting to know people from another culture and share some life experience, funny stories, fashion ideas and any other interesting topics. I'm looking forward to being lucky enough to make some friends here!

Re: Hello

Welcome to the forum.
Hope you can find some friends around here.

Re Language tandem - check out th tandem thread to see if anyone would pair with you and if there is nothing, write up your own info in the same way as the other posts. Quite honestly, I think the way you actually do a tandem language partnership is up to the parties involved. The idea of going shopping together is great.

No-one on here says that it has to be lessons of 3/4 of an hour in each language to be divided by a five minutes coffee pause during which the two parties may also speak a third language if they so please...
Mods make nasty rules about nearly everything - but not this.

Re: Hello

Sorry, Maybe i didn't write it clearly...I don't want to find a language partner, just want to find some friends to do some shopping or have some drink with whom we can speak some English. Hehe. Of course if he/she wants to speak German, it's also no problem for me))
