Summer Jobs

Hey Everyone, I'm Ben(edict) and have being studying in zurich since last november. I cannot afford a summer holiday and therefore would like to work during the holiday season. Does anyone have ideas about any summer job in zurich and environs? Thank you

Re: Summer Jobs

Hi Endikt. Welcome to the forum.

Many of us don't afford a summer holiday

And most of us worked during our student years and "holidays".

This place lists many jobs for students: http://www.marktplatz.uzh.ch/jobs/

This one: http://www.semestra.ch/jobs/job_results

And you could ask your local friends, if their parents know of something.

Good luck.

Going around to bars, hotels, clubs and restaurants is pretty effective with a copy of your resume. They like the motivation!

Hi. Those are very good suggestion, however, they might to require you to speak good German. If German is not a problem for you, then it is much easier. Good luck.

Re: Summer Jobs

You know, if you are looking for summer job you might find it in Coop stores. They have these boards where you can put advert or find one.
