Hi!

Read a fair few posts on this forum (really helpful in calming a few nerves beforehand), before coming out to Zurich, where I will be at least until 1st September on an Internship. Currently working 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday, but I aim to meet more people than just in my workplace!

Got my head around the transport, shopping, sights etc., but would be great to meet any English speakers out here.

Got a fairly broad range of interests, so it would be great if anyone was keen for a few drinks, play squash (I have 2 rackets & balls with me, so all I need is a location)/football, watch a film, be recommended somewhere to go see, or meet down the local pub/bar to discuss sport or watch the olympics, etc.

I have travelled in South & Central America for 5 months (speak Spanish reasonably well), so I like meeting new people

Where are you staying in Zurich? Are you in the city?

I have been told about an Irish pub not far from where I live in Wiedikon. I know its not English, but its as close as you're gonna get out here!
