Welcome to EF!

don't worry I am sure you and your family will like here... especially if you think that you can have a proper spring and summer in Switzerland.
Where are you from exactly? I lived in Dublin for the past 5 years and I have just moved here in Basel.

Re: Irish - Moving to Basel

Hi and welcome!
My husband is half Irish, his mum was from Kerry, and my sister's husband is Irish, from Wicklow, so I have a lot of time for the Irish!
Lovely day today, 27 degrees, more to come next week .
I hope your move goes well, and I'm sure you will love it here!

Hi and Welcome,

Basel is definitely a kids friendly place and the most amazing thing about Basel is that it is very much a stroller friendly city. The city really has invested a lot on its facilities for children ..be it play areas, gardens ,pools or education.

I am sure you will enjoy your stay here.

Hey there,

I just moved out here to Basel. I am Irish also. Feel free to get in touch once you get here. Hopefully I will be more familiar with Basel by then. Good luck with the move!

Hey there,

Cool, give me a shout once you get here in October and we'll meet up. Tis a nice place from the little I see but a little quiet but I don't really mind that so much.
I'm from Limerick originally. Have lived in a few other parts of Ireland and abroad so I guess I am kind of used to emigrating at this stage.

Talk to you soon,
Ruairi
