Hello everyone!

I just moved to Switzerland last week from Perth, Australia. I'm living in Winterthur and doing a Master's degree at the University of Zurich. So far I've been pretty busy sorting out the administrative stuff and getting things for my apartment, but now that I'm settled in it would be nice to meet some people.
Welcome and good luck with your studies. I am easing into my second Fall Season here. I am sure that you will have no trouble socializing.
I only know the eastern half of Australia. The other side is on my places to visit list.

Chrisso checkout the Meetup group "Expats in Winterthur" - they go often on a Friday to Paddy's. I'm taxi for son to soccer training on Fridays so rarely get there (on any day really). Last Thursday was an exception. Paddy's was so packed I'd never have found you anyway!
