I am Louise, a 40-something professional in Rolle. I would love to meet up with other English speaking people.

My interests are cooking, good dining, gourmet and organic food, reading, nature, spirituality, travel. (I should add here that my home is in Southern Spain, I am married to a Spaniard, and I work in Switzerland part-time, 60-80% - and to add to this mix, my nationality in British).

I am wondering if there are any English speaking groups that meet up during the day or in the evening just to socialize.

Don't know as I'm not in your part of the country, but there's the British Classic Cars show on at Morges on the 6th October down by the lakeside. Grumpygrapefruit will have his Great British Cheese stand down there somewhere so there's bound to be several expats hanging around for the goodies. Why not drag your boyfriend along to it (point out all those great cars he can drool over) and make yourself known. It used to be organized Saturday drinks in Toto in Zürich. It coul be smth for you, but unfortunately they are not in calendar any more. Are you moved guys or you don't meet any more?
