Hi,

We are a family from London, myself, my husband and our teenage son who have moved to a lovely village alongside the lake. Although I don't speak German I have found everyone really helpful and happy to speak English which is a change from France where we used to live. I am looking forward to exploring this beautiful country mostly through it's cheese and cream cakes.

We actually arrived in Zurich three months ago and I have been using the EF for a while to help me answer some important and some very silly questions about life in Switzerland. Can I say a big thank you to everyone for all the useful information that's posted here, as well as helping me out you've given me a lot of laughs.

And, can anyone tell me when to expect the first snow?

Wait...there is no snow where you live???

Last stop was the South of France, no snow there but we did get some in London last year and I'm still excited
