Hi, I'm Gabe, moving to Zurich from Cambridge in 2 weeks for at least a year. I'm working at ETH - whenever I'm not skiing, hiking, or out dancing. I assume we have some Salsa and Swing on offer?
I'll be living rather centrally (oh man, trolling this forum was handy for finding a place remotely!). I speak German so am not worried about building a social circle, but am very keen to meet a few people who are up for some good fun outdoors or pot-luck dinners. Oh, and climbing...I've been living in flat places for years, so am pretty decent on plastic walls...would love to see more of the real thing.
Expect me to post with questions about converting currency, nearby ski slopes and ice-rinks, and improv comedy. Someone mentioned hot-air balooning? Also, I'm trying to get deeper into aerial kite photography.
