Now that I’m a full-blown Member (just made my 100th post!), I guess it’s about time. So here goes:

My name is Meg. I got married to my Swiss husband in September, and moved here from Minnesota, USA* in October. We live near Zug in a little apartment with our cats, and until I find a job, I’m a Hausfrau (although I’m really bad at it). I like exploring, cooking, being outdoors when it doesn’t involve falling down mountains (i.e., “skiing”), beer, photography, and a lot of other stuff.

At this point, we’re just about settled in. We’ve cleared most of the New-to-Switzerland hurdles…with lots of help and advice** from you guys. Now I’m looking forward to helping out other CH newbies***, **** by sharing my experiences—for better or worse.
