Just moved to Neuchatel on Feb 1st!
I'm pretty excited to know new people...

Anyone who need a blues/rock guitar player?
Any tips to found a band and pubs with live music?
Did you know any places for rehearsal open after 6 pm in Neuchatel?

I can't help with specifics regarding your questions but your best bet would be to go into the Cafe du Cerf in the town centre and ask the bat staff there. They'll probably be able to point you in the right direction. There are live bands playing there at the weekends.

Welcome to Neuch! I don't know about down in Neuch, but up here in La Chaux-de-Fonds, there is a small bar which has small live performers weekly, it's called Entre Deux and is close to the station, let me know if you wanna go for a beer sometime!

there is a theater outside Neuchâtel direction Lausanne near (Phillip Morris, Serriers) which is called the case à chocs which has rooms which are available for rent here is a link to their web site in French.

I also new in Neuchatel only about 4 months, there is one bar at parking Rue de Seyon (near Place Purry) called Bar King which have live music performance

The King bar is at totally the opposite end if Rue du Seyon from Place ( it's at the bottom of the Seyon car park) but you got the rest of it right they do have live music.

BM it's the Bar King at the Parking!

OK but my comment was about it being at place Pury as stated in the post I quoted when in fact it is right at the other end if the street about as far away from Place Pury as you can get and still be in Rue du Seyon.

BM thanks for greeting me in Neuch and about my post I did non mention it being at place Pury, I said its near Place Pury, if it is within comfortably walking distance I will consider it near, even every place within Neuch I will consider relatively near as I came from relatively bigger city (Jakarta)

LOL. I guess distance is relative as by my (European) standards the King is nowhere near Place Pury.
