I have realized (and yes I am ashamed) that I have never properly introduced myself. So some of you might already know me a bit - I tend to try and help out with legal questions and the like.
My family is an international one, with parents and siblings spread around the world, I was born in London, however I am Swiss and live in Fribourg (or Fribi as I tend to call it with much affection). In my heart of heart I have always been a foreigner here (and everywhere else for that matter). English schools and moving around quite a bit have given me a insight into both perspectives. As a kid I really did not speak any German, so I was full on "Ausländer" regardless of my passport. I picked it up quickly, and these days people are surprised I speak anything else

(btw not trying to kick off any discussion - just some insight into who I am - sorry if TMI).
Mr International in spe (yeah working on that

) is also a foreigner in Switzerland - and I often wish he or his family would have had access to a similar community, who sometimes are a bit lost with all the Swiss madness.
Otherwise I have two aquariums, am a bit of a cosmetics junkie (especially anything not available in Switzerland, so ladies looking for something I might just know a website), a lot of terrible habits and I try very hard to to take life too seriously.
I am not going to bore you with my career or job, however I am going to bore you with a great big fat compliment to this forum! It is certainly one of the most entertaining, informative and simply fun forums I have ever had the pleasure to be a member of.
Thank you especially to those posters who make such beautiful use of the English language - I am often in stitches laughing.
So this has become a rather long post - if you made it to here I hope you were not bored to death - feel free to ask me stuff (maybe not anything - learned form the headhunter)
