There are people here who will help with a lot of things. One thing to avoid, is SMS speak like whtevr. All it takes is two taps on the keyboard to write whatever.

Also, don't be shy to use the search and tag search functions on the forum. You can be sure than any questions you have, have already been answered.

Re: Indian moving to Zurich

Viosno,

You can groan at me, that's OK. But just know this.

The one thing this forum prides itself on is the quality of content.

The reason why we point people in the direction of seach and tag funtionality is so that we can

1) maintain the quality by eliminating redundancy
2) save their time
3) save the time of other dedicated users
4) use the built in functionality of the site

I have not offended the user in any way, neither were my words unkind.

The reason why we discourage SMS speak is so that we can improve the search functionality of the forum. Do you use SMS speak as search terms? Do you even use the search functionality?

If this is worth groaning at me, then I can only assume that you don't understand how a forum works and what keeps a forum from degenerating into a pile of rubbish.

You are 100% right. But i felt that it was a not-so-warm welcome considering the fact that this is his very first post. May be you are right, I don't understand how a forum works!! after all i am a Newbie!! But i never fail to use the search and tag functionalities before posting my queries.
