Hi Everyone,
I live in the Boston area and like to ski in Switzerland and NH USA.
I will be visiting my sister in Sargans end of Feb to March and plan to ski many days. I just retired, a good skier, and like the Vallais and Graubuenden for skiing. I am looking forward to meet members of this forum, have a beer in Zuerich or Martigny and would very much enjoy the company of ski fans, downhill and X-country, for a fun time together.

I might be too much of a beginner for you, but if you do not mind, I am keen to join because most people around me tend to be snowboarders and I only do skiing. (I live and work in Zurich area.)
I do downhill only, most slopes, but some slowly. I'm British so not such an expert.
Weekends would be better for me.

I am intrigued, why are you posting here?

I spend about 10 to 11 months in the Northeastern USA, between the Boston area and the White Mountains (Thornton, NH, to be precise). But I live for the few weeks I spend in Switzerland, in the summer. I do not ski, but hike year round.

How about you? All you say is that you live in NH, what, if any, is your relation to Switzerland?

I simply googled "ski buddies nh" and the EF website with your post came up and so I replied. I am so sorry but I thought you skied and none of my friends in NH ski and I was hoping to meet some people who were into that. I have skied in Austria (Kitzbuhel) in 2002 and it was simply fabulous. I live in the central part of the state (Lakes Region-Laconia).

Thanks for the link...much appreciated! I am curious as to why you use the word "ski" in your post but you state that you don't ski afterall? Do you mean "hike" for "ski"...just curious as I know American/European lingo is different.

Looks like you know more skiing places than me in Switzerland. Although I have been to Flumserburg more times than I remember, so I am keen to go somewhere else, but I can go again no problem.

I used to live in the old Hampshire, but that Hampshire did not have the hills you are talking about.
