new to villeneuve?

hello, Angela here.Am just moving to villeneuve switzerland, I've been living in leysin for 6 years but it is a real breakaway anglo republic so just wondering if i can handle the real switzerland??? Is there anything I should know about villeneuve? Any secrets to be discovered???Any info would be helpful, thanks, angela.

Villeneuve Fribourg or Vaud?
If Fribourg, I must say sorry for the isolation; If Vaud, wow, nice view!
Visit the city of Montreux for all the fun spots. You'll hear lots of English spoken as well to help you out.

Villeneuve, Vaud.
Yes great view and love Montreux, Vevey.Villeneuve has a nice main street in the old town and am just wondering if there are any hidden gems???

Quite a few, depends on you and what you like.
Find some local tourist shops and fill up on info. So many things to see, so little time.
You single or have family?

married with two amazing babies, so am looking forward to strolling lakeside as opposed to pushing them in a stroller,up an alp everyday!
