Hello everyone,

My name is Nooshi & I am a Canadian artist, mom, & wife.
My husband & I have lived in Canada for about 15 yrs, but our son was born & raised in Canadian prairies (Saskatchewan & now in Alberta).
We (my husband & I) studied & graduated from university here in Canada, but we think it is time to make a move! Mostly due to harsh prairie weather & well many other reasons!
We have been thinking about Europe for sure! Our first choice England! But I just think Switzerland would suit us much better, although I have many doubts & fears & questions!
That is why I am here, as I found this website & I could see that most of the topics were covered for a person with big number of questions!!
Looking forward to meeting & finding some wonderful friends, & getting answers to my questions

Hi nooshi, welcome to the site. You'll find lots of info here and if you have a question that's not covered just ask. Just as a matter of interest do you or your husband have a European passport, or job offer with permit for Switzerland?

Well, that is a very good question! You see, we are beginning to consider it seriously. Nope, as of today we have not done anything formal or serious yet.
Is obtaining an European pass difficult?

Well yes if you have no ties. It's actually getting a work permit that is the biggest problem. You or your husband would have to find a company to employ you and put in an application for a permit. You'll find info on this under the permits thread.

Anyway as they say "where there is a will there is a way"

mmmm, that is what I exactly thought & I fear.
But of course, I certainly agree with you, Nothing is Impossible if you try hard to reach that goal.
My biggest worry is the language! We are fluent in English, Turkish & Farsi, but German we do not speak!
I am going to post more questions in other appropriate sections since I don't think I should be posting questions in intros,
