I'm arriving on the 29th of Feb from Melbourne.

I have a job starting on 3rd March out in Hinwil (BMW F1 team) but not the foggiest of where i'll stay when i get to Zurich.

So....get your Tim Tam order in now. And wrack your brains for any good place where I can crash for that weekend and get over the jet lag.

it would seem like there are 2 people in Zurich that like Tim Tams....who woulda thunk it?

Tim Tam Crunchies or something like that...havent tried em yet, look pretty nice...

Why do they keep coming up with new versions of Tim Tam - you can't improve on perfect.

Do they still have those Kahluha ones?

I'd have put in an order, but I'll back in Timtamland within a week.

Something to try when having Tim Tams with a hot drink: Bite off the top and bottom of the Tim Tam, then suck some hot beverage up through the Tim Tam (like the Tim Tam was a straw). The whole thing melts from the inside out.

Almost as good as deep friend Moro bars.

Slightly cheaper than flying to Oz for your TimTams is flying to Luton and then visiting the Dunstable branch of Tescos.

That's the Tim Tam Slam mentioned above. Always fun to do in the presence of anyone who's never seen it before just to see the looks on their faces.

Hey, I invented the "Tim Tam Straw" in Perth in the early '80s, well at least I thought I did, all my family and friends were well impressed. Looks like there was some syncronised innovation going on

Better than TimTams, bring Arnotts Mint Slices, as the combination of mint and chocolate is banned in Switzerland. The only exception being "After Eights", the local equivalent of "After Dinner Mints". Or maybe some "Pillow Biscuits" (Perthspeak I think)..

not only am i going to get ma ass hauled over the customs coal's for being the only one crazy enough to import vast quantities of chocolate INTO swiss-land....but now there is a combination of chocolate and mint that is actually illegal!?

heading out of town for the weekend, but keep your eye on the calendar, lots of chances to buy (or make) some friends, even if you don't bring the cookies. (they might help though)

Oooh good old tim tams, mine got confiscated at customs when a friend from Australia tried to send them by mail haha.
