New Spanish in the forum

Hi everyone! I´m new in the forum. I came to Basel to study a Master and I´m staying. More spaniards here?

See you around!

That's only because you told me your age! I though you were a young whipper snapper married to that oldie.

You said you are the new Spanish. So I wondered what happened to the old one?
(Yes. I was trying to be funny and no one understands my brilliant wit)

Welcome, OP.

There are quite a few Spaniards around, hope you'll find your countrymen to have a chat with and exchange some impressions.

He lacks the time. That's why I'm here so often, to make up for his absence.
It's a chore, you know

Re: New Spanish in the forum

Hi all! I wanted to make a question here, I don´t think I have to open a new thread...

I have my student residence permission until October and I want to extend it at least for one year more. I know they ask for a job contract to get the extension but for the moment I just have some private lessons and a very little contract in a school (just 1 hour a week).

It will be enough or they are going to ask me for papers and documents to demonstrate my lessons...? Somebody in my situation?

thanks im Voraus

Welcome, welcome in Switzerland and welcome in that Forum. But pleeeaase realize that joking is part of everything here. So, that you in the title described you as "Spanish" instead of "Spaniard" gives ammunition to all the Jokers. Reminds me of the Young Turks who governed the Turkish Empire in the 1910s and were not YOUNG at all but rather aging gits

Re: New Spanish in the forum

hey!

I'm Jéssica, I'm portuguese and I speak a bit of spanish actually I'm getting better at spanish as I work with spanish girls every day here x)

as you'll be studying here maybe you could tell me then how is college here... I was at the university in Portugal before I came here but I couldn't finish my graduation, so I'm trying to find a way of going back there or I could study here as well... I'm not sure yet of what to do but if you could give me some insight then it would be great
