Finally in Zug

Hey all

Been planning this for almost 9 months and me and my gf are finally in Zug where we found a great place to live and start our new lives!

If anyone in the vicinity feels like having a coffee sometimes let us know, we're in our 30s and always love to meet new people.

P.S Anybody else loves listening to the meooowing of the cows here?

Re: Finally in Zug

You must live in a different Zug than I do. Around here, the cows moo and the cats meow. ;-)

It is not the mooing of the cows that makes me feel that I am in Switzerland but rather the sound of their bells.

Re: Finally in Zug

I was lucky to find something in one week but I also had 3 viewings and in general I could have gotten any of the flats I viewed to be honest.

I don't know much but it seemed to be harder to get flats on the 1500-2200 range but much easier in the 2200-3000 range. Perhaps it was the time of the year where I didn't have much competition as well, who knows.

Use comparis to look for flats instead of homegate (or both), it not only has more stuff but they have a button where you compare rents with the whole neighborhood to see if it is overpriced.

Where will you work?

Re: Finally in Zug

Hi! I'm new in Zug too!
Why don't we organize a apero/dinner for people in the Forum that are living in Zug area?
It could be nice to me meeting new people!
Thanks!

Wow!! Nice to hear that it's good living
Great!
Maybe we'll organize something soon (I'm thinking for example to watch Six Nation all together in a pub)
