New to Vacallo, Ticino

Hi Everyone,
So have just arrived from the UK for the start of a new adventure in Switzerland. Am renting in the south of the country in Ticino, found a house in Vacallo which overlooks the Swiss / Italian border.
Have moved from Colchester due to partners job. Have brought our two dogs over here too. They are settling in, as are we. Finding our feet and the many different minefields of relocation, registration, exploring and overcoming language barriers but loving the area and looking forward to this new chapter.

Welcome to Ticino, it's lovely hinterland, lovely Ascona. And of course lake Como and the italian side are beautiful too.

Hi there. We're an English family living in Vacallo - been here almost 5 years and my daughter goes to the local nursery. Let me know if you need any local information!
