Thanks Phos for the invite! What part of LA do you hail from and where in Zurich do you live? How long have you been a Zurichian (is that how we're called?)
Judging by your EF profile, you've been a local for quite some time.
I went to Fairfax. They are called Zuerchers. I'm neither here nor there anymore. I'm now a homeless and stateless nomad.

Re: Newbie Californian Lady in Zurich

Hey Mike, just had to agree with you about the Mexican food!!! Boy, do I miss those burritos from Southern California....nothing even mildly compares here. I'm surprised to see so many Californian on here. I was born and raised in Alabama, but always felt like I didn't belong there. I went to San Diego to get my doctorate and find a husband. Luckily, I got both and then we moved to the San Fran Bay area. I've also traveled up and down the entire coast and, of course, visited L.A. I also worked in the deserts in Central California, so I've seen and lived the whole state, I think! I'd love to get together sometime with just you guys from California! That would be fun, don't you think? Too bad we can't go out for some good Mexican, although my husband (an original Californian from the San Diego area) wants to try a place that is supposedly decent.....any of you up for it? I think the place is called El Agave and he wants to go this Saturday.....whadayasay?
