English family looking to make new friends with kids

Hi There,
Im happy to see that it forum exists,
We are living in Ruti near Raperswill, english/swiss family, my husband is swiss.
We moved here six weeks ago with my 5 year old son who is not yet in school and am finding it impossible to meet people.big language barriers too.. so we would love to meet nice families with kids, mums with kids, generally cool open-minded people.. english speaking..
We have been living in Goa for the last 7 years running a guesthouse and yoga centre and now we are here ) and would love to meet some new people !!
I look forward to hearing from you..

Thanks
Heidi

Hello & Welcome to the Forum.

Last I heard, there is a Beer festival at your end of the Lake coming up : http://craftbier.ch/

And there are a number of Meet-Ups for mothers (so, with kids) happening in Zurich town.

It at least gets you a few connections in the City.

Else, start the German classes when your boy is in Kindergarten, and there are many new friends there to meet.
