New to Basel for the summer!

Hiya, I'm from the UK and am working in Basel for the summer. I just arrived a couple of weeks ago and I'm here till the end of September (trying to earn a bit of money and escape the UK between finishing my master's and starting my PhD). I do a lot of sciencey stuff at work so I try to balance it out with art and music and stuff in my free time - and Basel seems a great place for art! I haven't really managed to make it round many of the museums yet but I'm hoping to soon.

I'm really enjoying it here so far! Although I am having a bit of trouble finding people to hang out and do stuff with. What part of the forum would be best to post in, e.g. to see if anyone wanted to meet up over the weekend?

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Have a look down in the Events part of the forum to see what things may be happening in your area. It is the holiday season though so might not be much happening at the moment.

Re: New to Basel for the summer!

The Basel facebook groups are a lot more active socially than the events on here. Look for Basel Folk and Basel Flouncers for a start..
