Young (ish) married couple from N. London new to Kilchberg

Hi everyone

Well, as the title says, my wife and I (she's twentysomething, I've just hit the big 3.0. ) are new to Kilchberg.

I worked in Zurich (I'm with Zurich Insurance) for 6 months last year but my wife's a total newbie.

A couple of bits about us: I'm quite into playing and watching football (Arsenal fan - good or bad depending on your viewpoint!) and would be great to find some 5/7/11 aside games to play in over here as I played quite a lot in London.

My wife is into books, Yoga and we're both big cinema goers. She's also a primary school teacher with 5+ years experience in private and state schools, so any tips there would be appreciated!

Keen to meet new people, experience Kilchberg and Zurich and generally looking forward to everything this place has to offer!

Dave

Hi Tesso

Many thanks for your message!

I think it'll be more non-competitive games I'm looking for. Playing in a friendly game for Zurich Insurance tonight but my suspicion is that "serious" football is a bit beyond my abilities! Thanks though

Thanks Manny!

I will definitely be up for watching some of the games in future. I was at the Oliver Twist yesterday watching the Shield and am back in the UK this weekend, but after that I'm around!

I am also back this weekend and am going to the West Ham game on Sunday! Decided to keep my season ticket, just sell it to my mates when I am not there.

Pencil in Liverpool on Monday 24th, will probably head with my mate to Kennedy's (Paddy's will probably be full of fake scousers )

Hey Guys,

I'm not an Arsenal fan (don't worry, not Spurs either...Leeds, for my sins..) but keen to play/watch some games since moving over here. Let me know and I'd be keen to join!

Thanks,
Dan

Dave, did you find a football team near you in the end? I'm over in Zurich next week for a week and looking for a local football team (local to Adliswil/Wollishofen) to photograph on the Sunday.

Oh and the Shamrock in Wollishofen also shows the football, little bit closer than Kennedy's

(And I won't mention anything about supporting a wrong side of the river football team)
