Re: New in Lausanne

Hello Gabriella
Im suyoko. I'm new in Switzerland too. I'm going to French school in Delemont now. Coz we got a special offer from Canton JURA for the foreign women.
But at first i took a private lesson in Biel/Bienne. it's called Academia.
it costs a lot actually but it was good to have a private teacher for me.
I dont live in Lausanne, but i like there.
I guess you can find somepeople from your country easier than where i live :P
I'm struggling to have friends here . people cannot speak English that much. so hard to communicate = hard to be good friends
so, so far I need some advice too :P hehe

Good Luck

suyoko

Welcome to Lausanne! I don't know about how to find a private French teacher, but do post here (or send a pm) if you have questions about life in Lausanne.

Re: New in Lausanne

Hi Suyoko!

Thanks for your message and sharing your experience. I am still looking for a private teacher, I agree with you and think for now it will be the quickest way to learn french as soon as possible. I would love to communicate freely and not rely on my husband to say the easiest things...
Anytime you are in Lausanne, let me know

Cheers!
