Have you been reading about what is happening to the Swiss IT market? Many of the MNCs have been moving as many IT jobs out of Switzerland as possible, as it is simply too expensive to keep entry and middle level jobs here.

There is still need for IT people with niche expertise, as well as senior level management. But Switzerland is a difficult place to break into if you are just starting out with no track record behind you.

Both the large banks, in years gone by drivers of IT employment in Switzerland, have established subsidiaries in Eastern Europe (and in other low cost markets) and hire more IT staff there than in Switzerland.

The Swiss IT market is changing, and in many areas shrinking. So my advise: find a job before coming over.

Good luck.

Yes you're right, Zug is one of the low tax canton of Switzerland.
However, I guess you'd need a permit to move in and your priority will then be to get a job first. With a job, everything gets possible as far as you're from an EC country. All the best & good luck !

Thank you for replay meloncollie, I didn't know about this. As I searched the web I saw a lot of job openings in Zug for IT carriers that I can fit in that's why I asked
