Re: Northern Irish

Yeah its been grand so far. I opened the door for an old lady in the apartment today and she thanked me in four different languages

It's very unlike the rest of europe, and i like that.

Currently working in Aarau, but doing a delightful commute on the SBB to get home in Basel at night.

Big up the Norn Irn Crew, barrack busters and ten regal filters all round!

Re: Northern Irish

Welcome lad... It would be cool to have some Guiness or Kilkenny. Have you found any local Irish pub yet... I know of The Pickwickpub in Baden.

Re: Northern Irish

Pickwicks is ok in Basel. Then you have two Irish bars, McGuinnesses, which i dont like so much as there isnt much craic in there. So that just leaves Paddys which is probably the busiest pub in Basel... a bit too busy sometimes!
