New to Basel

Been in Basel for just over a month. Weekdays goes off in work and routine stuff. Would love to roam around this lovely city/country and have a better utilized weekends, at least during my tenure here. Would be great if we have good friends to share the time and roam around whenever possible
Don't have any own vehicle so depend on the excellent public transport to roam around.

Re: New to Basel

Welcome to the Forum Sunsha. Even a newbie may organise a social event, so why not organise a walk and coffee in Basel? Have you been to the Tinguely museum yet? http://www.tinguely.ch/en/museum_sam..._tinguely.html

Re: New to Basel

Hi,

if you are on Facebook: join Basel Folk, Basel Flouncers etc. Also on Meetup.com you will find lots of social activates going on in Basel. There is also internations.com that arrange a lot of events in Basel. Enjoy the theatre and there are many theatre groups in Basel. The Basel Panto group are performing their 21st annual panto "Young King Arthur" in a couple of weeks at the Scala Basel. Lots of things going on in Basel.

I have lived here for 26 years and I still love the place.

Have fun
Martin
