Re: New To Switzerland

If you want to work at a restaurant or bar, don't only send your application out. Treat yourself to a coffee in a bar or restaurant you like, ask the waiter to see the owner and talk to him/her. If he's interested, you leave your application.
That is the fastest way to get work.

Good luck!

Re: New To Switzerland

Thanks :-)

There are some greek restaurants in Zurich. You may look at Griechische Taverne in Zürich-Seefeld. Yannis - the boss - may be interested. And book a intensive class in German at Migros Klubschule. The good thing about working in a restaurant is that you are forced to use the language in a real life environment and will learn it much faster.
