Hello from a prospective Student

Hello everyone, my name is Can (like John ), I studied mechanical engineering at Koc University, in Istanbul. I have got acceptance from ETH Zürich for pursuing a master's degree in the same field, and I am very eager to live in Zürich, as well. But the problem is, I don't have any scholarship for financing my living expenses in Zürich. I would appreciate your feedback about living expenses of a student with average life conditions. Even though I have obtained a German scholarship covering living expenses, Zürich and ETH excite me a lot.
Thanks a lot for your help

Can

Re: Hello from a prospective Student

Hi can! It's almost three weeks since you've posted your introduction. Do you still think about ETH and Zurich?

I suggest that you have a close look at the other forums in the Living in Switzerland section of the forum, you'll find some information about the costs of living in Zurich. If you have any specific questions, post them outside the Introductions forum and you'll get more feedback. We have some users on board who study in the German speaking part of the country.
