Hi Guys

My name is Jithesh and is new to the forum. I've landed up with a job with Nestle and will be moving Vevey by the end of August. Thought I'll say hi and would also like to make some friends... To introduce myself, I'm a New Zealand national of Indian origin. Was born and brought up in India and I moved to New Zealand to pursue further studies (Masters). Landed up with a job at Fonterra and New Zealand being a great country to live thought of settling down there. But couple of years ago I got an offer to work for a company in the Middle East. Thought it would be a nice experience and would return back to NZ, but it seems I'd be exploring a bit more... Right now both myself and my family (consists of my wife and a 6 month old kid) are looking forward to the move to Switzerland...

My name is Chris and I am new to this forum. I will also start work in Vevey in July and I would love to meet some new friends. I have lived in Sydney for many years and I do not know Vevey / Lausanne at all. Perhaps we can discover this region together?

Also I have been trying to look for accommodation, perhaps initially short term as I cannot make up my mind if I want to live in Vevey or Lausanne. It appears to be extremely difficult. If you have any good tricks, could you please share it with me as I am absolutely desparate.

Thanks very much for the warm wishes... will catch up once i land in switzerland.. was in vevey for a couple of days last month and i absolutely loved the place.. nice small town.. reminds me of Queenstown in New Zealand.. do keep in touch..
