Hi to everyone...

Just joined today because we are planning to travel to Switzerland as part of our summer tour...

I teach at a primary school in the UK and as such, am very fortunate to have 6 weeks holiday to play with in the summer. We plan to travel to Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy this summer, so I wanted to find out about Switzerland, since I haven't been before.... This forum seemed like a good place to begin

We're visiting friend in Frankfurt in Germany, then heading south, through Switzerland, towards the lakes in Northern Italy..we will be in our little neat camper van....no sites booked..we like to 'wild-amp' wherever possible,....our pleasures are simple...local food...lovely walking...cycling round old villages...we bring our bikes with us, and also our inflatable Canadian-style canoe for pootling on little lakes...we aren't too keen on cities and busy-ness...we find nice spots then find a friendly farmer...our van is very eco-friendly and self-contained, sanitation etc.
