Hi there all on this forum.
We are about to embark on the biggest change in our lives so far. My name is Tracy and my partener is Fred. Fred is working in Zurich and on contract for about a year so as soon as his company has arranged our living quarters my children and I will join him. We are all very excited but obviously a little nervous too. The children have already decided to go to the local schools rather than the international school, what better way to learn a new language and make friends in the community. The children are 12, 8 and 7 and very outgoing so I really dont think they`ll have a problem (i hope anyway). i`LL let you know when im arriving and maybe we can attend one of the events you all describe. Anyway enough for now. Oh and just so you know I love singing so if there are any karaoke events you`ll have to fight to get the mike off me !!!!!

Hi Seren, Welcome to the Forum.
Glad you are looking forward to coming. It sounds as if might avoid the often time-consuming 'looking for somewhere to live' problem. Hope it works out well and the family settles in happily. Good to hear that the children are happy at the idea of going to Swiss schools... long may it last.
