Roland in Basel

Hello everyone! I am male, single, 52 years of age (in 2006) and have been working and living in Basel since July 2006. Previously I was working and living in Munich for three years. I am a sas programmer by profession and most of my work has been for pharmaceutical companies producing reports from clinical trial data. I am currently working for Novartis. I hope to be here for a number of years - maybe up until retirement.

I am very interested in photography (both film and digital) and have some "serious" film cameras. I like drinking good beer (if I can find it). I like curries but noticed that the curry club in Basel seems to have stopped meeting and I would be interested in it starting up again. I haven't had a decent Chinese meal in a few years now and would be interested in recommendations here in Basel, even if it means going over the border.

I am very centrally located in Basel, with a Marktplatz address. I have a large lounge with a large dining table in it. I used to make a lot of curries a number of years back and will start this up again in 2007. I am a non-smoker so my apartment is non-smoking too.
