Grüetzi from a sunny Basel area

Good Morning Everyone - been here a good few years now but only recently come across this great forum.

Looking forward to participating in the forum and its activites.

Good to see a few other Scots surfacing today, too!

Enjoy this beautiful sunny day.

Re: Grüetzi from a sunny Basel area

Welcome to the Forum.
Take to the hills, the Scots are after us...
What is so attractive about Switzerland for the Scots at the moment? There seem to be so many of you all of a sudden.
Perhaps you have heard that our weather is becoming more like yours, and you think you'll feel at home more easily.
Whatever the reason, it's good to hear from you.

For some, like me, it was the allure of an English girl that got here before us!

BTW - that "Tips for Trailing Spouses" thread is an interesting one you started, Longbyt.

I'll see what I can do. Should be visiting Scotland in a couple of months - if you can wait that long. Otherwise I was reading about "Swiskey" in another thread. Maybe you could try that and report back - assuming you'll be able to!

Slange Var!!
